BVM, Queen of the World Parish

Established in 1971, the parish was carved from the Parish of St. John the Baptist I Tiaong and comprises the barangays of Talisay, Maharlka, Villa Consolation, Paiisa, San Isidro, Anastacia, Tagbakin, Palagaran and Cabatang. The pioneeribng parish priest was Fr. Armando Perez. He built the church and convent. Other priest who served as curate were Fr. Candido Umali, Fr. Armando Perez, Fr. Leonilo Reynoso, Fr. Froilan Zalameda, Fr. Alberto Aller, Fr. Sergio Nadres, who put the Blessed Sacrament Chapel and Began the expansion of the church , and Fr. Carmelo Villocillo and Fr. Cabungcal, who continued and completred it, with the technical and artistic assistance of Ugo Bigyan.
