COMPANY BACKGROUND

Bicolandia Environmental Testing & Consultancy Services (BETCS) is the pioneer environmental laboratory in the Bicol Region that caters to various business establishments, entrepreneurs and individuals who are in need of its expertise. It was established in 2012, out of the owner’s dedication for the environment and concern for industries that share the same commitment and advocacy.

The same commitment and advocacy encouraged BETCS to engage in consultancy services, initially, for compliance with environmental requirements, which later advanced to management systems following the international standards in collaboration with qualified and highly competent professionals with hands-on expertise in their respective field.

Located in Rommarth Building, F. Aquende Drive, Brgy. 40, Legazpi City, BETCS is a registered laboratory and consultancy services with the following permits/ registrations:

• DTI Certificate No. 01707575 issued by DTI Region 5 last April 11, 2012
• Business Permit No. BP-2346-2015 issued last January 30, 2015







BETCS owns and operates an environmental laboratory and offers services such as:

o Wastewater influent and effluent testing;
o Noise monitoring;
o On-site sampling and testing;

o Environmental and safety audit; and
o EMP & EMoP preparation

Physico-Chemical Analyses such as:

o Biochemical oxygen Demand (BOD);
o Oil and Grease (O&G);
o Total Soluble Solids (TSS);
o Cyanides (CN-);
o pH;
o Temperature; and
o Dissolved Oxygen (DO).

Consultancy services in the area of:

o Environmental Health and Safety;
o Technical Trainings;
o Feasibility Studies;
o Assistance in the Design, Implementation and Establishment of a
Management System that is compliant to international standards.

BETCS also owns the following monitoring instruments:

o 1 – unit Advanced pH Meter Kit (Model Number: 850056)
o 1 – unit Dissolved Oxygen (DO) Meter (Model: Hach, HQ30d)
