HISTORY OF BARANGAY DICARMA

Barangay Dicarma is one of the busiest barangays of Cabanatuan City. It is located on the south of the city bounded by Mabini Extension, Villa Ofelia and Caridad on the south, Ma. Theresa on the north and Padre Crisostomo and Barrera on the west.

It has a total land area of 19.57 hectares and a population of 4,309 (2013 Brgy. Census on Population).It is formerly a part of Barangay Sangitan, but on July 17, 1952, it was formally declared
a separate barangay deriving its name from the rootword of three surroundingsubdivisions namely: DI-Diversion Road (now Maharlika Highway,CAR-Carmelence Subdivision, MA-Maria Theresa.As a former sitio of Barangay Dicarma
